A study in architecture’s ability to enhance a workplace culture, the project builds directly from the advertising agency’s egalitarian, transparent, and creative work environment. An offset core configuration provides open views across and through the building as well as shade the west façade from the afternoon sun. An inset on the north façade creates an outdoor patio and reveals a three-story atrium where crisscrossing stairs encourage physical activity and host all-hands meetings. A fitness center occupies the top floor, an area normally reserved for executive offices.
