Located on a greenfield site facing west over a lake, the project is a study in site adaptation. A restaurant, bar, and social sport activities are woven among the site's mature trees and native grass fields and define a path from the nearby neighborhood to the lake's edge.

Inspired by the frequent reuse of construction materials in the area, the project utilizes a limited material palette of wood, stone and steel sourced from nearby abandoned structures.

Three schematic studies explore the relationship between the new structures and the landscape. Each take a different approach to allowing the natural features of the site guide the architecture.
